COTA Chief To Retire At The End Of September

Central Ohio Transit Authority President and CEO Curtis Stitt told the agency's board of trustees this morning he will retire on September 30th. 

Stitt was appointed in 2012 and worked for the agency for 18 years. COTA is in the midst of reconfiguring its bus network. The board plans to conduct a national search for a successor. 

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
