COTA Reports Ridership Now At 31-Year High

nacentralohio.com

The Central Ohio Transit Authority reports ridership increased in 2019 to the highest level in 31 years.

The agency says in a news release just over 19.1 million people used COTA last year, up from 18.9 million in 2018. The agency says  it's 2017 route redesign that sought to better link downtown to the suburbs appears to be working. COTA says only six of the nation’s top 30 markets saw ridership increases last year.
