Columbus City Council last night approved spending 1.4 million dollars to purchase storage equipment for police dashboard and body camera videos. Columbus Department of Technology director Sam Orth says it will help with the rollout in phases of the city's body camera program.
The money comes from the safety department's capital improvement fund.
