CPH Urges Customers Of A North High Street Restaurant Get Vaccinated For Hepatitis A

tripadvisor.com

Columbus Public Health is urging anyone who ate at a North High Street restaurant between January 1 and January 16 to get vaccinated for Hepatitis A.

Health officials say they are investigating the case of a person who has direct contact with food at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and was later diagnosed with Hepatitis A. Symptoms include jaundice, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue. Employees have been vaccinated. The agency has created an information line to answer questions and concerns from the public. The number is 614-645-1474, then choose option 3.  The agency also will hold a public vaccination clinic for adults Saturday from noon to 4pm at its Parsons Avenue facility.  A statewide outbreak was declared last year.
