CSCC Trustees Meet Today To Consider Budget Cuts

Columbus State Community College trustees meet today to consider a plan to cut 2.5 million dollars from the school budget. Proposed cuts include the jobs of some professors and the elimination of unfilled positions. Officials say an ongoing slide in enrollment is to blame. Officials say fall enrollment was 6 percent lower than the previous year, and spring enrollment is projected to be 9.5 percent lower than spring of 2014.
