The City of Columbus is expanding its free curbside recycling program to some area businesses. The city will launch a pilot program in the Short North next month for up to 40 bars and restaurants. During the Recycling on High program, the city will collect glass bottles, aluminum cans and other recyclables three times a week. The pilot program is funded with a 37 thousand dollar grant from the state. The program runs through next March, and city officials say it could be expanded. So far, a dozen Short North establishments have signed-up.
