Dayton To Shut Down Traffic Camera System By Year's End

Dayton city officials say they will shut down the municipal red light camera program by the end of the year.  City officials say they've collected enough information about crash-prone areas to remove the controversial cameras.  The city is awaiting word from the Ohio Supreme Court whether its challenge to a state law restricting camera use will be heard. City officials say the law helped significantly cut revenue from camera-generated tickets.
