Delaware County's First Domestic Violence Shelter Opens Today

turningpoint6.org

Until now, Delaware County was the largest county in Ohio without a shelter for victims of domestic violence.

But not anymore. Today, Turning Point Home is opening its doors to help  those abused by their domestic partners. Turning Point will offer free job and legal assistance to victims including men, women, children, immigrants and the elderly. Turning Point's newly remodeled facility was purchased thanks to 3.2 million dollars in donations. Those in need of assistance may call Turning Point's crisis line at 1-800-232-6505.
