DeWine Asks BWC For More Aid For Businesses

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine is asking the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation for a 5 billion dollar dividend for business owners.

If approved, this would be the third dividend since the pandemic began.  The bureau is scheduled to consider the request at its meeting next week.  DeWine says the average restaurant could get 13 dollars in assistance. Tthe average farmer could get 95 hundre dollars. The City of Columbus will receive the most aid, 64 million dollars, to distribute.
