Dublin Officials Mulling Tax Breaks For Amazon

The city of Dublin is considering offering Amazon 500 thousand dollars in tax breaks to build a data center there. The multi-billion dollar online retailer wants to build on 68 acres of land valued at 6.8 million dollars. Other proposed public subsidies for the private business include water and sewer lines, road improvements and performance incentives. City Council is expected to vote on the tax breaks on September 22.
