Dublin Student's Family Sues Ohio University Fraternity Over His Death

legacy.com

The family of an Ohio University student who died last fall after pledging a fraternity is accusing the fraternity of hazing.

The suit says 18-year-old Collin Wiant was beaten with a belt, deprived of sleep and forced to take drugs and drink a gallon of alcohol in an hour. He died of complications from ingesting nitrous oxide provided by fraternity members. Sigma Pi's executive director declined comment.
