Dublin Students Set World Record

Students at Dublin Jerome High School set a world record last week by tying together more than ten-thousand plastic zip-ties. Officials with the Guinness Book of World Records have certified the achievement. The idea came about when senior Hudson Ozello decided to zip-tie the backpacks of several students as part of a prank during the school year. Word of the prank spread and Ozello was nearly suspended. After the record was broken, Ozello's family sold the zip ties and donated the proceeds to a free-and-reduced-price school lunch program.
