A group trying to recall Columbus Mayor Andy Ginther says it failed to collect enough valid peition signatures by the July 9th deadline to place the issue on the November ballot.
The activists say they plan to try again on July 24th. Organizers include the Yes We Can coalition of fellow Democrats cite his ties to the corporate community and his response to police brutality protests. A petition on change.org is also calling on Ginther to resign over similar issues.
