Federal immigration officials say a Columbus resident and undocumented immigrant who took sanctuary inside a local church to avoid deportation will be returning to her native Mexico.

Officials have denied Edith Espinal's request for a stay, meaning she will be deported in two weeks.  Espinal has been living in Columbus for the past ten years.  Her supporters say she may move back into the church to keep immigration agents away.
