Fewer Columbus Airport Passengers Projected For Late December

WCBE files

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority projects nearly 70 thousand passengers are expected to fly out of John Glenn airport during the last two weeks of the year.

That's down from 176 thousand people during the same period of 2019. Still, the authority says it is the highest number since the beginning of the pandemic.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
