The woman who received the first facial transplant in the U.S. has died.
Cleveland Clinic officials say Connie Culp died this week at the age of 57. Culp underwent a near-total transplant at the Clinic in 2008 to repair damage from a 2004 shooting. She had been the longest-living face transplant patient in the world.
