Ohio foreclosure activity rose by 12 percent in April to the third-highest level in the nation, fueled by an increase in repossessions and sheriff's auctions. The foreclosure-listing service RealtyTrac says nearly 12-thousand Ohio properties were involved in a foreclosure action last month, up 23 percent from April 2012. The firm says sheriff's auctions rose by 33 percent last month and are up 73 percent from this time a year ago.
