Former Buckeye Barton Indicted For Injuring Sheriff's Deputy

Former Ohio State University football player Kirk Barton has been indicted on charges of slamming the arm of a Delaware County Sheriff's deputy with a van door.

Authorities say Barton was ordered to leave a Dublin-area bar earlier this month because he was intoxicated and stumbling. Authorities say the deputy escorted Barton outside the bar to a taxi without incident but Barton couldn't provide his address. While the deputy and taxi driver determined where he lived, Barton allegedly slammed the van's sliding door on the deputy's arm.
