Former Cincinnati Bengal Appointed To Samoan Government

Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Jonathan Fanene has been appointed to lead the American Samoa Department of Youth and Women's Affairs. If approved by the territorial legislature, he would be the youngest cabinet director of American Samoa's government. Fanene was drafted in 2005 and played seven seasons for the Bengals.

Jim has been with WCBE since 1996. Before that he worked as a reporter at another Columbus radio station, and for three newspapers in Southwest Florida.
