Former NAACP Official Fails To Show Up To Serve Jail Time

Longtime Dayton civil-rights activist Reverend Raleigh Trammell has violated a judge's order to begin serving his jail sentence. Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies say Trammell is supposed to begin serving an 18-month sentence this week.Trammell's attorneys say he's too sick to serve his sentence. The former Dayton NAACP leader was convicted of stealing money from a county-funded meal program.
