A Clark County grand jury has found a sheriff's deputy was justified in shooting and killing a man who was running toward the deputy with a knife.
Justin Nawman killed 29-year-old Michael Spencer at Buck Creek State Park in June. The sheriff's office said Nawman saw Spencer with the knife and blood on his hands and neck, called for backup and tried to defuse the situation. Body camera video shows Spencer running at Nawman with a knife before the deputy fired.
