Group Of Water Plant Managers Blame Lead Contamination On Aging Pipes

Lead contamination in tap water in Flint, Michigan, Sebring, Ohio and other cities highlights problems with America's aging water systems. A new report by a group representing municipal water systems highlights the problem.

Pauli Undesser of the Water Quality Association says the general public can check the quality of their water through testing or obtaining the local water utility's consumer conference report. She says if contaminants are found, people should purchase water filters.
