Columbus-based Nationwide Insurance says someone hacked into its computer network on October 3rd and likely stole personal information of more than 1.1 million people.Nationwide is sending letters notifying those affected and is offering them free credit monitoring and identity theft protection for a year. The company says it is not aware of compromised information being misused.
