Home repossessions rose in Ohio and the U.S. in September. The mortgage information service RealtyTrac says 480 Ohio homes were repossessed last month, as compared with 183 in the same month a year ago. More than 40 thousand U.S. homes were repossessed in September, as compared with nearly 23 thousand in the same month last year. The service says rising prices have given banks more incentive to take over homes in foreclosure.
