Columbus-based Huntington Bank says it will start offering its own brand of credit card next year.CEO Stephen Steinour credits a new state law that eliminates the cap on credit card rates for in-state banks, allowing them to charge the same interest rates and fees as banks in other states. He says the credit card for business will be available in the first half of next year, with one for consumers coming shortly afterward. Steinour says the move will create 250 jobs.
