Ohio cities are not national leaders in one category, and that’s good because we’re talking about auto theft rates. An insurance industry group has used preliminary FBI statistics to rate more than 300 cities across the country on their car theft problem. While 7 California cities are among the ten worst, Ohio cities don’t make the top ten list at all. Still, several Ohio cities do show up on the overall list. Mitch Wilson is with the Ohio Insurance Institute, and he gives details in this interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Bill Cohen.
