JP Morgan Chase To Cut Local Jobs

Hundreds of JPMorgan Chase employees in central Ohio will be losing their jobs by the end of the year. The company that helped cause the 2008 Wall Street collapse says it is cutting 300 jobs at its mortgage operations in Columbus, Westerville and Gahanna. The cuts are part of a company-wide budget-tightening plan. In April, the company reported a first quarter profit of 6.5 billion dollars.
