Judge Dismisses Inmates' Lethal Injection Drug Lawsuit

A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by four death row inmates who challenged a new state law shielding the names of lethal injection drug makers. The inmates wanted to block the law from taking effect in March, arguing it violates free speech rights. The judge says the inmates lack standing to challenge the law, which he says does not suppress speech or the ability to oppose the death penalty. The inmates plan to appeal.
