Kroger Recalls Contaminated Berries And Beef

wcpo.com

Cincinnati-based Kroger has pulled from its shelves the Private Selection brand of triple berry medley and blackberries due to hepatitis A concerns.

Samples tested positive for the liver illness.  Customers should return them to their store for a refund or replacement. An hepatitis A outbreak was declared in Ohio last year. Kroger is also recalling ribeye steaks and in-store produced ground beef due to possible E coli contamination.  The meat was sold between April 23rd and June 7th.
