Liberty Township Trustees have voted to rehire the longtime medical director, add three more firefighters, and rescind a proposal for EMS service from Delaware County.
The six resolutions passed last night end 14 months of public unrest surrounding EMS service, which began when a former trustee proposed merging with Delaware County to save money. New trustee Bryan Newell, who replaced the other trustee that did not run for reelection, voted in favor of the resolutions.
