Pennsylvania-based Aramark tells state officials it will close its East Columbus facility in November, cutting 70 jobs. The firm says the job cuts will happen if it is unable to negotiate a new contract with car-rental company Avis Budget Group to provide services, which include servicing and cleaning vehicles and getting them ready for customers. Avis outsources those services. Aramark provides food service, hospitality management and facilities management services.
