Columbus Public Health officials say 101 people were hospitalized for the flu from December 20 through December 27, the largest weekly number since the agency started keeping records in 2009. The Ohio Department of Health reports more than 19 hundred hospitalizations statewide through December 20, as compared with over 200 at this time a year ago. ODH Spokesperson Melanie Amato says people who have the flu need to stay home.
