A local youth wresting coach has been charged with child-endangering and hazing stemming from an incident last June in Franklin.
Prosecutors say 58-year-old Bart Freidenberg failed to stop the hazing of a wrestler and member of his Ohio All-Star Wrestling Team. The teen said he was pinned down by teammates who hit and clawed him repeatedly and spread ointment on his body. Prosecutors say the hazing took place during a practice before the team left for a West Coast trip. Freidenberg has declined comment.
