Lordstown Motors Announces Merger

The company that purchased the former General Motors plant in Lordstown has announced a merger.  

Lordstown Motors Corporation and Diamond Peak Holdings agreed to a 1.6 billion dollar merger as the company moves closer to production of an electric pickup. The merger is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter. GM has invested 75 million dollars in the auto company.
