One in five Ohio children struggle with hunger, and nearly 14 hundred sites around the state are open this summer to provide free meals and camp-like activities through the Summer Food Service Program.
The schools, churches, community centers and other sites distributed more than four million meals in 2018. Heidi Keween is with the Northwestern Ohio Community Action Commission:

Summer meals are available without registration or application. Sites can be located online through the Ohio Department of Education's website.
