Man Who Provided Weapon That Killed Two Westerville Cops Sentenced To Prison Time

Franklin County Sheriff's Office

The man convicted of providing the gun used to kill two Westerville police officers was sentenced Thursday to five years in prison.

Prosecutors say Gerald Lawson knew friend Quentin Smith had a violent past that prohibited him from buying or owning a gun. Smith was indicted in March. He has pleaded not guilty.
