Many Residents Oppose Plans To Close Linden-McKinley High School

wikipedia

An estimated 150 people attended a public meeting last night on the Columbus City Schools' plan to close Linden-McKinley High School.

Most of those in attendance voiced opposition. But interim Superintendent John Stanford asked them to keep an open mind regarding the plan to transfer students to East High School.  The consolidation is scheduled to start in two years.  More public meetings are planned before the school board takes a final vote.
