Measles, Mumps Outbreaks Growing

The Mumps and measles outbreaks continue to expand through central Ohio. Columbus Public Health officials say 433 cases of mumps have now been confirmed in an outbreak that started at Ohio State University. State health officials are reporting 339 cases of measles in nine north-central Ohio counties. That outbreak began when a group of unvaccinated Amish people visited the Philippines, which has been dealing with its own outbreak.
