Meyer Pleased With Recruiting Class

Ohio State lost out on a highly-rated defensive back to Florida State, otherwise a recruiting class that came into Tuesday's signing day figuring to be one of the best in the country ended it as just that. The 18 players signed join seven who enrolled early. Buckeye head coach Urban Meyer says now it's about developing them because he expects incoming recruits to see game action quickly.

Some notable freshmen include defensive lineman Nick Bosa, whose brother Joey was twice named Big Ten defensive player of the year and is expected to be among the top selections in the upcoming NFL draft. And Meyer calls the release and arm strength of QB Dwayne Haskins among the best he's seen at that age since he's been recruiting.  Ten of the new Buckeyes hail from Ohio.
