A million-dollar lawsuit has been filed on behalf of an unruly middle-school girl who suffered a broken arm while being restrained by an Akron police officer. The amended federal lawsuit filed by Sandra Williams on behalf of her 14-year-old daughter names the Akron police chief and six officers, including the one involved in the October incident. The officer was reassigned. The incident was captured on video. A spokesperson for Akron's mayor says the suit is without merit and the officer's actions were justified and reasonable.
