Mount Carmel Health System has reached three more legal settlements with families of some of the 25 patients former physician William Husel allegedly killed by overprescribing painkillers.
The families of Joanne Bellisari, Sanders Young Junior and Michael Walters are expected to each receive 750 thousand dollars. Husel has pleaded not guilty to 25 counts of murder. The system has paid out more than 16.7 million dollars in settlements so far.
