Court filings have revealed the name of the Watkins Memorial High School freshman shot and killed Sunday in Pataskala, as well as the name of the alleged shooter.
Authorities say 15-year-old Hunter Cooper was shot and killed by 15-year-old Noah Bigham at a home on Granville Street. Police say Bigham was trying to distract his best friend from a video game when he opened fire. Bigham is charged with a delinquency count of reckless homicide and is being held in a juvenile detention center in Lancaster pending a safety assessment.
