The Olentangy Local School District reports 11 COVID-19 cases among student-athletes since practices started in July.

All games and practices have been stopped for the next two weeks, based on recommendations from Delaware County health officials. Cleaning of school buildings continues.

State officials Tuesday reported 862 new cases of COVID-19 and 39 new deaths. The state now has 109,923 cases and 3,871 deaths. The Ohio Department of Health says Franklin County has dropped out of the top ten in the state for the spread of the coronavirus. Rural counties with populations under 60-thousand people now occupy every spot in the top ten.  Franklin remains under a Level Three Emergency Health Advisory.
