Next Generation Space Vehicle In Ohio For Testing

spacenews.com

America's next-generation space vessel is on its way to Sandusky for testing.

The Orion capsule and service module will be trucked to NASA's Plum Brook Station after being delivered by plane from Florida to Mansfield Lahm Airport Sunday.  Researchers will test Orion's systems in a vacuum chamber before it is launched in the unmanned Artemis One mission to the moon next year.  NASA wants to establish a lunar outpost by 2028.
