North Linden Commissioner To Fill Vacant Columbus School Board Seat

Columbus Bar Association

The head of the North Linden Area Commission has been selected to fill a vacant seat on the Columbus Board of Education

After interviewing six finalists for the seat left open when board member Mary Jo Hudson resigned last month, the board voted unanimously Tuesday to appoint 38-year old Jennifer Adair.  An attorney with the state Department of Administrative Services, Adair is a Columbus City Schools graduate and has a child in the district.

Adair will be sworn in on Wednesday, and will take her seat at the next regular board meeting, January 22.

A native of Chicago, naturalized citizen of Cincinnati and resident of Columbus, Alison attended Earlham College and the Ohio State University. She has equal passion for Midwest history, hockey and Slavic poetry.
