Ohio's unemployment rate for November is 4.8 percent, a decline of three-tenths of a point from October.
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says today the number of jobless workers fell by 17 thousand tlast month o 279 thousand. Non-farm payrolls fell by 56 hundred from October to a revised 5.5 million. Ohio gained jobs in the manufacturing and financial sectors. The state lost jobs in sectors including educational and health, professional and business services, and trade, transportation and utilities. The U.S. unemployment rate for November was 4.1 percent.
