Number Of Local Syphilis Cases Increase Significantly Over Last Year

Columbus Public Health officials are closely watching an apparent syphilis outbreak.  The number of cases in Franklin County are up 40-percent over the past year, three-times higher than the rest of the state.  Health officials are warning sexually-active people to protect themselves and their partners.
