The Scioto Valley Local School District says classes at the closed Zahn's Corner Middle School will be held in another building next school year.
The school was closed earlier this month after radioactive contamination was found inside. The U.S. Department of Energy conducted testing Friday. It and Pike County Health officials are also hiring an independent third party to conduct testing. The school is several miles from the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant, which once produced enriched uranium.
