Ohio Secretary Of State Slaps Down Vote Tampering Rumor

Jo Ingles (Ohio Public Radio)

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted is responding with uncharacteristic vigor to an internet rumor of vote tampering in Franklin County.

A website called The Christian Times posted a picture and a story claiming tens of thousands of ballots -- already filled out for democratic candidates -- had been found in a warehouse.  The story was quickly debunked.  The photo was shown to be that of British poll workers in 2015.  But Husted says he took offense as an elections official *and* a Christian.  In a press release issued today, Husted said:
" It was a deliberate attempt to deceive and mislead.  We already get enough of that from the candidates.  Enough already." The story was pulled without comment from the groups website.
