Ohio Televangelist Facing More Legal Problems

ernestangley.org

Part of televangelist Ernest Angley's Cuyahoga Falls building is under foreclosure. A company that loaned Angley more than 3.5 million dollars to buy the Winston Broadcasting Network building says it's still waiting to be repaid. Earlier this year, Angley closed his Cuayhoga Falls restaurant after a court ordered him to pay 388 thousand dollars to a group of previously unpaid employees.  Beck Energy says it loaned the money in January 2013 to pay a mortgage. The loan was to have been paid by February 2016. Beck says it requested payment in April and Angley wrote back in July saying he would pay "in just a very short, short time." Beck claims it never received payment.
